GoBots vs. Transformers Match #1: Screw Head vs. Nosecone

Which are better, GoBots or Transformers? I know the answer most would give and it's the same I would have given if you had asked 8-year old me. But as I said in my last post I've come to appreciate GoBots far more than I did as a kid.

In the first of what I hope will be many such match-ups, I'll be comparing GoBots and Transformers against each other, one-to-one. As far as the rules are concerned, I'll only be comparing figures that are similar in some way, like those that share the same alternate mode. The decisions made in each round are completely subjective of course, but I will try to keep things as fair as a subjective judge can.

For the first match we have the Renegade GoBot Screw Head versus the Autobot Technobot Nosecone. Both are about the same size in robot mode and both transform into drill tanks. Let the battle begin!
Round 1: Nosecone is one of the lamest names ever. Even given the lameness, I'd expect someone named Nosecone to be an aircraft of some type. Not that Screw Head is a vast improvement mind you but it's certainly more descriptive. It also has a horror movie feel to it, kinda like Pinhead from "Hellraiser."
Round 1 goes to: Screw Head
Round 2: Speaking of pinheads, Nosecone's head is laughably small, a trait shared by all of his Scramble City-type combiner limb brethren. Most of these bots' heads double as the connection joint when forming the gestalt robot and are thus perfectly peg-sized. Screw Head's head is large and magnificent.
Round 2 goes to: Screw Head
Round 3: When you are a drill tank your key feature is your GIANT DRILL. In bot mode Screw Head wears his GIANT DRILL prominently on (as) his head. You can't miss it and certainly wouldn't want to be head butted by this guy. Where is Nosecone's GIANT DRILL in his bot mode? It's dangling uselessly behind his back. It's almost as if Nosecone is embarrassed of his GIANT DRILL while Scew Head fully embraces it. Nosecone CAN wear his GIANT DRILL on his head, too, but it then covers most of his face leaving him blind and open to attack.
Round 3 goes to: Screw Head

Round 4: Like any self-respecting biped, Screw Head has two legs. Go ahead and count them. There's one and two. Two legs. Each capable of independent movement. Nosecone has one leg masquerading as two. Like we wouldn't notice you only have one shin connected to those two thighs. Nice try though.
Round 4 goes to: Screw Head

Round 5: Screw Head is covered in glorious chrome. Nosecone not so much.
Round 5 goes to: Screw Head

Round 6: Nosecone can combine with his Technobot buddies to form the gestalt super robot Computron. Screw Head can, given a Power Suit, combine with some Renegade buddies to form the gestalt super robot Grungy (yes, Grungy).
Round 6 goes to: Draw/Tie

Round 7: Screw Head has no accessories. Nosecone has a detachable laser pistol and a pair of detachable missiles (none of which I am in possession of, but he did originally come with these three accessories).
Round 7 goes to: Nosecone (I had to throw the guy a bone)

WINNER: Screw Head

SCORE: GoBots: 1; Transformers: 0
